Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. in Mableton, GA is seeking a detail-oriented Verifier/Checker to join our warehouse team. You will verify products against packing slips, match PO numbers, and inspect items for correct quantity and condition.

The role involves operating basic powered equipment, handling inter-warehouse transfers, and preparing boxes for put-away. A high school diploma, basic computer skills, and willingness to work overtime are required; weekends off, benefits, and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet customer needs.
• Valid state driver's license may be required in some instances.
• Certifications to operate powered equipment and to pick DOT-regulated items may be required.

Responsibilities

• Verify products and match packing slips to PO using item and vendor numbers, descriptions, and quantity through visual inspections.
• Inspect boxes for damage and discrepancies and research as needed.
• Create and apply bar code labels and scan into warehouse system.
• Handle all incoming inter-warehouse transfers.
• Operate pallet jack or forklift and move products manually as needed.
• Stage product and prepare boxes for put-away bins and racks.
• Train cross-functionally to support business requirements.
• Follow safety guidelines and participate in Work Clean program.
