Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. in Atlanta, GA seeks a Verifier/Checker to join our warehouse team. You will verify products, match items to packing slips, and ensure accurate packaging to meet customer expectations.

You will count and pack items, apply labels, and operate basic to advanced warehousing equipment. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork with opportunities for training, overtime, and on-site career growth.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver\'s license where required
• Willingness to work overtime
• Certification to operate powered equipment may be required

Responsibilities

• Verify products and match items to packing slips using item numbers, vendor numbers, descriptions and quantity.
• Count and pack items, including DOT regulated materials.
• Fill boxes with packing material, pack and seal items, apply shipping labels and shrink wrap.
• Create bar code labels using item numbers, scan and apply labels into warehouse system, and scan for UPS invoicing.
• Audit packages for accuracy or damage.
• Load, unload and move product by hand or by using powered equipment.
• Train cross-functionally in other departments to support business requirements.
