Job summary

Shaw Industries in Savannah, GA is seeking an HR Specialist to support our warehouse and logistics operations across four local facilities. This hands-on role partners with the HR Manager and leaders to manage talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits, and employee relations throughout the full employment lifecycle.

You will handle job postings, background checks, 90-day onboarding, driver qualification files, and leave administration while providing HR analytics and community outreach support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as HR resource for associates, leaders, and management across Savannah facilities.
• Develop job descriptions and postings with hiring managers.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and background checks.
• Coordinate onboarding through the 90‑day period and maintain Driver Qualification files.
• Provide HR analytics and reporting on recruiting, turnover, attendance, and engagement.
• Assist with employee relations matters and investigations.
