Working closely with the HR Manager and operational leadership, you’ll support a broad range of HR responsibilities, build relationships, and help drive HR initiatives in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of HR-related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across multiple levels.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and discretely.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Customer-service mindset with results orientation.
• Proficient with Google applications and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as HR resource for associates, leaders, and management across Savannah-area facilities.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR Manager to develop job descriptions and postings.
• Support recruiting and hiring to attract qualified talent.
• Manage key components of hiring: postings, pre-employment checks, screenings, and offers.
• Coordinate onboarding through 90-day introductory period.
• Build and maintain Driver Qualification files for CDL positions.
• Assist associates with benefits questions and enrollment.
• Support employee relations and workplace investigations with HR Manager.
• Provide HR analytics and reporting on recruiting, turnover, attendance, and engagement.
• Coordinate transitional duty programs and leave communications.
• Support community outreach initiatives and committees as needed.
• Maintain accurate personnel records from onboarding to separation.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends for improvement.
• Submit unemployment claim responses.
