Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Richland, WA is hiring a Warehouse Associate to help move, store, and ship goods in a fast-paced cold- or dry-storage environment. You will operate RF scanners, forklifts, and other material handling equipment while following safety rules and Lineage policies.

You must be able to lift 40 lbs, read pallet IDs, and work flexible shifts including weekends. The role offers weekly pay, full benefits, 401k, and holidays; training provided.

Qualifications

• Identify products by reading, interpreting, and scanning pallet IDs.
• Basic math skills for quantity checks.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units into racks at or above floor height.
• Pick palletized units from racks for outbound shipping.
• Load/unload materials from pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Document damages and discrepancies to supervisors.
• Pack, seal, and label materials for shipping using RF scanning.
• Wrap palletized stock securely before movement within the warehouse.
• Complete forklift maintenance/check sheets and monitor battery charge.
• Assist with warehouse cleanup and organization as needed.

Pay: $19.00-21.50 + Full Benefits and Weekly PaySchedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am- 4:30pmUse a variety of material handling equipment to move products, equipment, and materials on and off trucks or throughout the facility while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPut away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor heightPick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipmentMay choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via Radio Frequency (RF) systemLoad and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting deviceRead and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities, types of products to be shipped and the location of requested items in the warehouseDocument and report damages and discrepancies to supervisors or leadsMay need to pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for shipping using Radio Frequency (RF) scanning equipment to document and verify counts of picked items; otherwise, ensure all palletized stock is securely wrapped before placement on racks or transporting through the warehouseComplete daily forklift maintenance/check sheetMonitor battery charge and leave material handling equipment at the designated storage area; may need to maintain and clean batteries, depending on siteAlert appropriate leader of any issues with the product or materials and await directions to rectify the problemHelp clean and organize the warehouse at the end or throughout the shiftADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)Must be able to identify products through reading, interpreting, and scanning or manually inputting pallet identification numbersBasic math skillsAbility to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage LogisticsAbility to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gearMust be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facilityAbility to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if neededMust be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loudPay Range:$17.13 - $26.59Why Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
