Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Chicago, IL, is seeking a warehouse associate to move products and materials using forklifts and a variety of handling equipment. You will read work orders, load and unload pallets, and ensure items are accurately scanned and counted with RF systems.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 lbs, and working in temperature-controlled environments. All duties emphasize safety and teamwork as you put away and pick items, document damages, and help maintain

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units into racks above floor height.
• Pick palletized units from racks for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, counts, and condition via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on/off pallets or skids.
• Read and follow computerized work orders to locate items in the warehouse.
• Document damages and discrepancies to supervisors.
• Pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for shipping using RF scanning equipment.
• Wrap palletized stock securely before placement on racks or transport.
• Complete forklift maintenance/check sheet and monitor battery charge.
• Help clean and organize the warehouse during shifts.
