Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Minooka, Illinois is hiring Forklift Operators to join a clean, safe and well‑run warehouse environment with weekly pay, excellent benefits and clear career growth opportunities.

You will operate forklifts, perform loading, picking, packing, shipping and receiving, and help maintain accuracy and safety on the floor. A valid forklift license and 1 year of warehouse experience are preferred; ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Responsible for day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
