Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Jacksonville, FL. This role involves handling inbound products, operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts, and entering orders into a WMS system. Shift is first, with weekly pay and a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Work within contract performance measurement guidelines
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging and loading/unloading
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, BOLs)
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing system during core production hours
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Schedule: First Shift Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30p

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a clean driving record and a personal vehicle and travel within the area approximately 25-50 % of the day
• Strong technical aptitude which includes using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, scanners and enter orders into a WMS System
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Must be able to work both indoors and outside

More Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Responsibilities

• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
