Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking forklift operators to support nightly warehouse operations in Westfield, MA. The role involves operating forklifts, stocking, and order fulfillment in a fast-paced freezer environment.

Earn $25.00 per hour with an additional $2.00 freezer pay during night shifts. Full-time, 2nd shift with 7:00pm–5:30am schedule, 10–12 hour shifts, at Westfield facility. Training provided and benefits from day 1.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse.
• Accurately track inventory using a handheld computer and other technology.
• Stack and rotate merchandise by hand or with equipment.
• Replenish pick slots and production lines to meet customer orders.
• Stage finished product in designated storage areas.
• Load and unload merchandise from trailers.
• Follow all forklift safety protocols and procedures.
• Occasionally lift varying case weight and dimensions.

Forklift Operators help support this mission by replenishing product levels to ensure items can be easily accessed in the warehouse. These jobs are an important part of our team and help sustain our safe and efficient daily operation.

Job Description

• Earn $25.00 per hour + $2.00 Freezer pay

• Full Time, Night Shift

• Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00pm to 5:30am or completion of the shift

• 10-12 hour shifts

You will contribute by:

• Operating a forklift to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse

• Accurately tracking inventory utilizing a handheld computer and other necessary technology

• Stacking and rotating merchandise, either by hand or using material handling equipment

• Replenishing pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders

• Staging finished product in designated storage areas

• Loading and unloading merchandise from trailers

• Following all safety protocols and procedures set for a forklift operator in the warehouse

• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
