Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is hiring for a 3rd shift Full-time Forklift/Freezer Operator at our York, PA location. Responsibilities include operating a forklift/reach truck, tracking inventory with handheld devices, and ensuring timely order fulfillment in a fast-paced freezer environment.

The role requires safety-conscious teamwork and 1+ year experience with material handling equipment. Compensation includes overtime as needed and shift-specific considerations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience operating material handling equipment
• Experience on reach truck/stand up forklift preferred
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow SOPs

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift/reach truck to move merchandise within the warehouse
• Accurately track inventory using a handheld computer
• Stack and rotate merchandise and replenish pick slots
• Replenish staging areas to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Load and unload merchandise from trailers
• Follow all forklift safety protocols and SOPs

Freezer Incentive Lift Operators help support this mission by replenishing product levels to ensure items can be easily accessed in the warehouse. These jobs are an important part of our team and help sustain our safe and efficient daily operation.

Job Description

• Earn $20.50/hour (Including Differential) + Incentive pay when you graduate!
• Full time, 3rd shift - Overtime as needed
• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (8:30pm - done)
• 4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York PA

You will contribute by:

• Operating a forklift/reach truck to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse
• Accurately tracking inventory utilizing a handheld computer and other necessary technology
• Stacking and rotating merchandise, either by hand or using material handling equipment
• Replenishing pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
• Staging finished product in designated storage areas
• Loading and unloading merchandise from trailers
• Following all safety protocols and procedures set for a forklift operator in the warehouse
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
