• One or more years of related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License required.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.

• Managing warehouse paperwork and providing technical support.

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Material Handler in Port Reading, NJ.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly:

• Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $2.00 Per Hour for 2nd Shift
• Schedule: 2nd Shift; Monday-Friday 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One or more years of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to build professional relationships at all levels
• Dependable and punctual with good attendance
• Performs work independently with initiative and accuracy
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods
• Work safely and be flexible with shifts
• Detail-oriented with good follow-up skills

Responsibilities

• Loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Adhering to performance measurement guidelines
• Accurate picking, packing, auditing, staging, and loading/unloading trucks
• Managing warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Providing technical support for automated packing systems during production hours
• Performing other duties as assigned
