Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Indianapolis is seeking a Safety-focused Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift. You will safely operate a cherry picker and standard forklift, perform case and pallet picking, and help with load/unload duties while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience – required.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift/cherry picker experience – required.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management
• Proven success in fast-paced, high-demand seasonal periods

Shift: 3rd Shift (10:00pm-6:00am), Sunday-Thursday - overtime required including Friday

What You’ll Do:

• Safely operate a cherry picker, standard forklift, and other powered equipment


• Perform case picking, full pallet picking, and stowing duties


• Perform load and unload duties as needed


• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts as needed

What We’re Looking For:
