Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Material Handler in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $2.50 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $33.00 per hour
• Schedule: Friday-Sunday and every other Thursday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator's license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Punctual with good attendance
• Ability to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Follow performance measurement guidelines
• Accurate picking, packing, auditing, staging, loading/unloading trucks
• Handle warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Support technical and maintenance aspects of automated packing systems during core hours
• Perform other duties as assigned
