Job Summary

The employee will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of all warehouse duties. Responsibilities include complying with warehouse procedures, utilizing proper paperwork, assisting with inventories, and managing the receiving and shipping of all inbound and outbound materials and packages.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensure all damaged units are repaired daily.
• Ensure all finished goods meet or exceed customer shipping requirements.
• Ensure all trailers inbound or outbound pass inspection.
• Complete trailer inspection forms for all shipments.
• Inspect all inbound and outbound shipments for damage.
• Ensure trailer tires are chocked before loading or unloading.
• Load and unload trailers promptly.
• Assist in preparing Pick Tickets, Bills of Lading, Work Orders, etc.
• Verify that all incoming shipments are complete with correct paperwork.
• Log and deliver all deliveries to the correct recipients.
• Participate in daily, monthly, and yearly inventories.
• Maintain an orderly warehouse in accordance with regulations.
• Store chocks and safety materials properly.
• Maintain forklifts in safe operating condition with regular inspections.
• Keep dock doors accessible by removing snow and debris.
• Assist with putting away night stock and support co-workers as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum of two years of forklift experience.
• Complete Parker Plastics Forklift Certification/License within 90 days if not already certified.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly.
