Job summary

Bob’s Discount Furniture is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator - Receiving Utility for 1st shift in Shorewood, IL. Monday – Friday starting at 8:00am, with Saturdays as needed. A strong candidate will safely operate forklift and cherry picker, using RF scanners to move and store product in the DC.

Starting pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour based on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K with company match, PTO, holidays, paid birthday day off, and employee

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.
• Comfortable with heights up to 40 ft.
• Ability to work weekends as needed and pass physical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Safely put away product in designated DC locations using cherry picker.
• Operate cherry picker lift up to 40 ft and load staged product from dock to lift.
• Use RF scanners to identify and locate product and move it to storage racks.
• Collaborate with team to complete tasks and meet department goals.
• Support a culture of honesty, integrity, diversity, and community.
