Job summary

SanMar is seeking an Expeditor for a 1pm-9:30pm shift, Monday through Friday, in the DC Warehouse. The role coordinates daily workflow, deploys resources, and ensures efficient operations by communicating with leadership and staff.

Required are 4–6 years in warehouse/distribution, strong organization, and the ability to multi-task. You will train staff on guidelines, follow safety protocols, and may operate lift equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4-6 years warehouse/distribution experience.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Basic math skills for counting and quantity.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Lift Operator Certification per OSHA guidelines (where applicable).
• Follow directions and adapt priorities as business needs change.
• Strong attention to detail and able to learn RF units.

Responsibilities

• Monitor restock volume and orders to assign tasks to warehouse staff.
• Understand processing schedules and estimate time to complete jobs.
• Communicate daily with leadership to ensure efficient workflow.
• Train and coach employees on production guidelines and safety.
• Interact with other business units to achieve goals.
• Adapt priorities and manage multiple tasks or projects.
• Complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Inspect equipment at shift start and return in good condition daily.
• May operate powered lift equipment as required.
