Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Warehouse Floor Technician to join our Chesapeake crew. You will perform floor care tasks in a fast-paced warehouse and support safety in daily operations.

We offer full-time hours with varying shifts, including weekends, and starting pay of $17.50 per hour. Prior floor care experience is preferred; training is provided to ensure safety and quality in service.

Qualifications

• One year of prior floor care experience preferred.
• Shifts include days/nights and weekends.
• Ability to lift and move moderate weights as part of janitorial duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout, etc.
• Scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
• Clean floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Move large furniture and objects when necessary while following safety guidelines.
• Report to Supervisor needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions requiring additional service.
