Job summary

Legacy Service Partners is seeking a hands-on Warehouse and Fleet Manager in Chicago, IL. You’ll lead warehouse operations, manage fleet readiness, and oversee inventory, procurement, and safety programs to support field teams and customers.

You will drive continuous improvement, coordinate cross-functionally with service, dispatch, and procurement, and ensure compliance while maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse management or fleet management within a service-oriented industry.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills with ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and tools with ability to analyze and report on inventory data.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations including inventory control, logistics, and equipment management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Warehouse and Fleet Operations: Develop strategies for efficient operations and optimized inventory control.
• Oversee Inventory Control: Manage cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations; maintain stock levels.
• Coordinate Procurement and Forecasting: Forecast inventory needs and place purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Optimize Warehouse Layout and Logistics: Maximize space utilization and streamline storage, retrieval and fulfillment.
• Manage Fleet Maintenance and Readiness: Schedule maintenance and coordinate repairs to keep vehicles road-ready.
• Enforce Safety Standards: Implement safety protocols across all warehouse operations.
• Monitor Equipment and Tools: Track warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with service, dispatch, procurement, and finance teams.
