Midwest Refrigerated Services, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Facilities Maintenance Technician in Cedar Rapids, IA. This full-time role involves general maintenance, light repairs, and preventative maintenance across our facilities.

You will complete work orders, manage inventories, and coordinate with Operations. The job requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with English proficiency and safety compliance as essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for most of the shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to follow safety rules and guidelines.
• Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
• Previous experience with warehouse machinery (conveyors, dock doors, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely fashion.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain documentation.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and perform repairs.
• Maintain inventory levels.
• Communicate effectively with Operations Teams about work orders.
• Identify building issues and maintenance needs proactively.
• Perform plumbing and electrical maintenance.
• Maintain weekly facility supply inventory.
• Travel to other facilities for maintenance support as needed.
• Provide phone support to other facilities.
