Premier Housing Management is seeking a Facilities Technician in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role focuses on daily and preventive maintenance of buildings, units, and grounds to ensure safety and comfort for residents.

The successful candidate will perform repairs, inspections, and equipment servicing, with emphasis on timely responses to resident requests and adherence to safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years residential maintenance experience, building maintenance or residential construction or equivalent certification.
• High School diploma or equivalent certification.
• Post-secondary courses in electrical, plumbing and heating or equivalent industry certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes general and preventive maintenance daily.
• Inspects building/grounds daily and makes needed repairs.
• Inspects vacant units and completes repairs before new resident moves in.
• Operates and services mechanical equipment and tools.
• Assists with preventive maintenance program.
