Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Equipment Operator for its Distribution Center in the United States. The role focuses on operating powered industrial trucks, RF scanner-directed tasks, safe handling of merchandise, and maintaining orderly pallets and storage areas.

The position requires basic math, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity with RF scanners. Candidates should be prepared for overtime and team-based work, with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Solid math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• High school diploma or GED; 1 year or more related experience and/or training preferred, but not required.
• 1-2 years of experience as a certified equipment operator is ideal, but also not required.
• Knowledge of RF scanners and basic computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) as listed (will certify on equipment).
• Perform daily checks on equipment prior to operating.
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report faulty equipment and safety hazards to supervisor.
• Accurately picking/packing orders using established practices.
• Restock picking bins and merchandise as needed.
• Safely moving product to/from pallet racks and loading/unloading trucks.
