Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts in Manheim, PA is seeking a Warehouse Equipment Operator to join our distribution team. The role involves loading, unloading, moving, and staging products with power equipment, and performing daily equipment inspections.

You will handle receiving, putaway, order picking, and loading shipments while maintaining accuracy and safety according to OSHA standards. Familiarity with forklifts and reach trucks is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• 6 months prior powered industrial equipment experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift.
• Basic math and ability to identify letters/numbers quickly.
• Able to speak clearly and listen attentively.
• Basic computer usage skills.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using power equipment.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Daily inspection on assigned equipment.
• Receiving/Putaway – unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
• Order picking – pull and prepare product for shipment.
• Loading – move product from staging/storage into trailers or containers.
• Operate all equipment (reach truck, order selector, walkie rider, forklift) safely per OSHA standards.
• Inventory – keep records to ensure inventory control and assist in physical inventories.
• Safety, housekeeping, security: maintain a clean work area and report issues.
