Job summary

ABB i Mississippi söker en lagerassistent för att stödja vår distribution. Du kommer att arbeta i skiftet med fokus på noggrannhet i inventering, plock och pack samt etablera effektiv överföring av produkter mellan lagerzoner.

Vi söker dig som kan läsa SKU-nr, räkna exakt och arbeta med industrimaskiner som du blir certifierad för. Du bör kunna arbeta övertid och vara bekväm med fysiskt arbete i en snabb miljö.

Qualifications

• Minst 1 års verifierad erfarenhet i tillverknings- eller distributionsmiljö.
• Högskoleutbildning eller motsvarande krävs.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Mottagning, verifiering och lagerhållning av inkommande produkter; sammanfoga identiska SKU i bulk.
• Order Fulfillment: Plocka och överföra bulkprodukter till plockzoner, hämta varor för leverans och flytta lådor.
• Samarbete & utrustning: Arbeta med Inventory Control för att lösa lagerproblem och hantera industriell utrustning enligt certifiering.
• Prestation & flexibilitet: Uppfylla kvalitets- och produktivitetsstandarder och utföra övriga arbetsuppgifter vid behov.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:Receive, verify, and stock incoming products from vendors and plants, ensuring accuracy in SKU numbers, quantities, and quality; consolidate identical SKUs in bulk storage.
• Order Fulfillment:Pull and transfer bulk products to pick zones, retrieve items for shipping, and move cartons from shipping lanes to pallets for loading.
• Collaboration & Equipment Operation:Work with Inventory Control to resolve stock issues and operate power industrial equipment as certified.
• Performance & Flexibility:Consistently meet department quality and productivity standards; perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience & Education:Minimum of 1 years of verifiable experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Skills & Knowledge:Basic computer skills with an understanding of distribution operations; ability to read, comprehend, and accurately count inventory.
• Physical Requirements:Comfortable working at heights (3-level modules), able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently, and capable of standing, walking, and climbing stairs for extended periods.
• Work Flexibility:Willingness to work overtime with little or no notice.
