Job summary

ABB i Mebane, NC söker en Senior Production Supervisor för andra skiftet. Rollen innebär att stödja enheten i att uppnå uppsatta produktionsmål genom att följa system och processer samt läsa och tolka tekniska diagram för montering av produkter/system/paneler.

Arbetsmodellen är on-site; rollen Bidrar till Smart Power‑divisionen i Mebane, NC. Du kommer att utföra monteringsarbete, arbeta med handverktyg och utföra kvalitetskontroller enligt definierade processer.

Qualifications

• Behörig att arbeta lagligt i USA.
• Krävs gymnasieutbildning eller motsvarande.
• Starka interpersonella och kommunikationsfärdigheter.
• God förståelse för och förmåga att läsa tekniska diagram.

Responsibilities

• Att utföra allt monteringsarbete för att producera halvfabrikat eller färdiga produkter/system/paneler inklusive paketering när det är integrerat i produktionslinjerna.
• Arbeta manuellt eller med lätt handverktyg.
• Utföra regelbunden kvalitetskontroll som en del av en definierad produktionprocess.
• Arbeta inom standardarbetsrutiner och hålla arbetsområdet snyggt och rent.

Sr Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. You will also showcase your expertise by reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Smart Power division in Mebane, NC.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.
• Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.
• Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications for the role:

• Authorized to work in the US legally.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Practical experience with applicable software.
• You are at ease communicating in English, written and verbal.
