Job summary

URBN in Kansas City, KS is seeking an Equipment Operator to fulfill warehouse orders using forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks. You will support the team on the warehouse floor, ensuring efficient processing of customer orders.

Requirements include 18+, a high school diploma or GED is a plus, and warehousing or heavy machinery experience is a plus. You must be able to work Tue-Fri 7:00am-5:30pm, stand/walk long hours, and operate RF scanners and touchscreens. URBN offers strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.
• Warehousing or manufacturing experience a plus.
• Forklift or heavy machinery experience a plus.
• Able to operate department technology like RF scanners and touchscreens.
• Maintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and compliance while operating warehousing equipment.
• Able to work in a team environment, and also independently.
• Function well in a multi-task environment; follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.
• Operate department-specific technology (RF scanners, desktops, touchscreens) to track product locations.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• All other responsibilities as assigned by operational leadership.
