Job summary

SanMar Corp. in Ashland, VA is hiring a Warehouse Associate III. You will unload/load trailers, operate lift equipment, and prepare orders for delivery. You will use an RF unit and High Jump to track product and support receiving error resolution.

Requires 4–6 years in a warehouse and forklift experience; overtime, weekends, and the Lift Operator Certification per OSHA are expected. Enjoy $20.50 per hour with shift differentials, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 4–6 years in a warehouse, loading/unloading trailers.
• 1–3 years forklift or heavy equipment experience.
• Complete Lift Operator Certification per OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to learn RF systems.
• Overtime, including weekends, may be required.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load trailers using powered lift equipment.
• Prepare orders by processing requests and packing materials.
• Generate reports to support error resolution in receiving.
• Support DC operations, including inventory audits and invoicing.
• Check out and inspect equipment daily for proper condition.
• Maintain a safe, compliant warehouse environment.
