Job summary

T.G. Lee Dairy, part of Dairy Farmers of America, is hiring a Warehouse Driver (CDL required) in Orlando, FL. You will operate straight or pup trucks, move units around yard and dock areas, and perform pre/post trip inspections according to DOT and DFA policies.

This full‑time role requires a current CDL, ability to read/write English, and strong safety awareness. You’ll join a team focused on timely deliveries, accurate logs, and compliance with quality and equipment standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Straight truck or pup truck experience within last five years preferred.
• Meet all DOT requirements.
• Current CDL license in state of residence.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Meet DFA motor vehicle record requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive straight or pup trucks to move, park and position for shipping/receiving.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Maintain accurate truck and inventory movement logs.
• Complete sales route deliveries as needed.
• Adhere to DFA/DOT policies and safety protocols.
• Ensure yard and dock areas are clean and orderly.
• Attend driver workshops and training sessions.

Job description

T.G. Lee Dairy has immediate job openings for dependable Warehouse Driver (CDL required).

Warehouse Driver drives a straight truck or pup truck at vehicle parking, yard or docking areas to move, position or park trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving functions. Transport trucks for repairs, as necessary, according to policies and procedures and safety protocols. May also operate wash bay using all necessary equipment to clean trucks. Keep the yard neat and orderly.

• Perform truck movement according to prioritization to optimize plant or warehouse efficiencies and production needs
• Move trucks to and from the service department and around dock area
• Spot or position loaded and unloaded trucks at assigned dock space for unloading or loading
• Maintain accurate truck and inventory movement log
• Follow steps to ensure proper operation and perform periodic preventive maintenance including pre and post trip inspections of equipment in the area
• Perform duties required to ensure that assigned area is sanitary and clean
• Wash exterior and interior of trucks if appropriate for yard location
• Complete sales route deliveries, as needed
• Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety, DOT, and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity and accidents and injuries
• Attend all driver workshops and training sessions

• $22.50 per hour

SCHEDULE:

• Monday through Friday -- 9:30am to 5:00pm (may vary due to business need)

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Straight truck or pup truck experience, within the last five years preferred
• Must meet minimum age requirements
• Meet all DOT requirements
• Meet Dairy Farmers of America Motor Vehicle Record requirements
• Certification and/or License – Current CDL (Class B/Class B with Air Brake but Class A is preferred) license in state of residence
• Understanding of DOT transportation regulations related to lawful operation
