Job summary

T.G. Lee Dairy is seeking a dependable CDL B Route Relief Driver to provide relief and backup for regular drivers. This role requires operating straight or pup trucks, delivering products safely on set routes, and maintaining up-to-date route knowledge.

You will support staffing needs and ensure excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The position emphasizes early morning hours with a focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 2 years of experience driving a straight truck or pup truck (within last 5 years preferred).
• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Must meet DFA/MVR requirements.
• Must meet DOT requirements.
• Certification and/or License - valid Class B with Air Brake CDL.
• Knowledge of DOT procedures, rules, and requirements.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Good math skills for load size and volume/weight measurements.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate a straight truck or pup truck to deliver products per route schedule.
• Provide relief/backup for drivers when on vacation or time off.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of routes; may ride routes to stay current.
• Communicate with peers, supervisors, and customers regularly.
• Ensure safe, timely deliveries with high service standards.

T.G. Lee Dairy has immediate job openings for dependable CDL B Route Relief Driver to provide relief/backup support for company when drivers are on vacation or other time off. May provide on‑call relief, cover partial trips or fill in due to staffing needs. Demonstrate knowledge of multiple delivery routes and possess necessary qualifications and experience to drive class B vehicles per the relief driving assignment. Keep up‑to‑date knowledge of routes, which may include going on route ride(s) to keep active knowledge. Operate a straight truck or pup truck to deliver products in a safe and timely manner to customers according to the delivery route schedule as determined by the supervisor. Demonstrate high standards of customer service. Communicate frequently with peers, supervisors, and others.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday to Friday - 3:00 am until complete

OUR CDL DRIVERS FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO:

• Average earnings are $1300 to $1600 per week

• Must meet all DOT requirements
