Description

Primary Purpose

To provide assistance and support to both internal and external customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Deliver orders to customers in a professional and timely manner.
2. Receive and process daily rush orders, weekly orders from Corp and Tigard, check order stages.
3. Put away stock in warehouse, pull will-call orders, maintain bin locations.
4. Process ship-outs from Bend branch, handle warranty and returns, verify paperwork.
5. Prepare warranty and returns for shipment to Tigard branch or vendors.
6. Order and return compressed gas tanks as needed.
7. Clean and straighten warehouse daily, work well as part of a team, follow company policies.
8. Assist with counter/phone sales, inform customers about backorders, recycle cardboard and garbage, fill freight claims, stock showroom, attend training, and work on special projects.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED, 2-3 years related experience or training, or equivalent. Experience in shipping/receiving, material handling, HVAC/R, customer service, or sales is preferred.

Skills and Abilities

Typing 30-50 wpm, computer skills, organized, able to prioritize, meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks, operate office equipment, good communication skills, forklift experience.

Physical and Other Demands

• Physical effort includes lifting, pulling, reaching, carrying, loading, typing, driving. Effort is 40-70%, handling 1-60+ lbs.
• Work positions include sitting, stooping, driving, standing, bending, walking.
• Mental/visual demand involves concentrated attention and coordination.
• Work conditions may include dust, dirt, heat, cold, but generally good conditions.
• Attendance: May require overtime; compliance with attendance standards.
