Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support accurate movement of goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will unload and load trucks, weigh and dimension freight, and operate forklifts to place items into the correct locations with precise put-away and staging.

Responsibilities include accurate data entry, proper labeling, and maintaining clear communication with the office to uphold customer service standards. Safety and teamwork are emphasized in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, count accurately, perform basic math and write legibly.
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and use lifting techniques up to 40 lbs.
• Forklift certification and Security Threat Assessment required upon employment.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load trucks in a timely and accurate manner.
• Weigh and dimension freight accurately.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Document shortages, damages, or discrepancies on appropriate forms.
• Enter data into the operations system accurately and timely.
• Label freight correctly and ensure proper put-away and staging.
• Interact with office to meet customer service standards and maintain relationships.
• Support a clean, safe warehouse environment, including Temperature Controlled Room.
