Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Warehouse and Distribution Manager to lead our client's distribution center in Welkom, Free State. You will ensure safe, accurate, and timely operations across receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping while driving inventory accuracy and staff development.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Logistics or related field with at least 5 years of warehouse management experience, strong WMS knowledge, and a proven ability to optimize

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in logistics or supply chain management.
Minimum 5 years in warehouse or distribution management.
Strong knowledge of WMS and inventory control.

Responsibilities

Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
Implement inventory management systems to ensure accuracy and minimize stockouts.
Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
Ensure health, safety, and security regulations compliance.
Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff.
Monitor performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
