Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, a family-focused snack company, invites applications for a Distribution Clerk at our Kings Mountain, NC plant. You will support the Logistics team with clerical tasks, maintain accurate records, and operate the Blue Yonder WMS to assist inbound and outbound processes.

The role runs on a rotating schedule, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM from Friday to Sunday or Thursday to Sunday, and requires strong organization, communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Familiarity with Blue Yonder WMS or similar systems is a plus.
• Requires excellent typing, filing, and organization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Demonstrated time management skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Verify and process incoming shipment documentation.
• Update inventory records in the Blue Yonder WMS.
• Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to resolve discrepancies or issues.
• Maintain accurate records of received goods.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation.
• Update order status and inventory records in the Blue Yonder WMS.
• Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
• Ensure all outbound documentation is accurate and complete.
• Maintain organized files and records of all warehouse transactions.
• Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Generate reports related to inventory, shipments, and other warehouse activities.
• Support the Warehouse Manager with administrative tasks as needed.
• Other job duties as assigned.

The Distribution Clerk provides administrative support to the Logistics team while utilizing the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS).
