Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, Inc. is hiring a Distribution Clerk for our Kings Mountain, NC plant. You will provide administrative support to the Logistics team and work with the Blue Yonder WMS to manage inbound/outbound operations and inventory control.

The role requires clerical experience, strong typing and organization skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A rotating schedule and opportunities for growth are included in a supportive, family-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in clerical or administrative roles, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Familiarity with Blue Yonder WMS or similar systems is a plus.
• Proficient typing, filing, and organization skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good written and verbal communication.

• Update inventory records in the Blue Yonder WMS.
• Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of received goods.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation.

• Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
• Ensure outbound documentation is accurate and complete.
• Maintain organized files and records of all warehouse transactions.
• Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Generate reports related to inventory and shipments.
• Support the Warehouse Manager with administrative tasks.

We're hiring a Distribution Clerk to work from our plant located in Kings Mountain, NC. The Distribution Clerk provides administrative support to the Logistics team while utilizing the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS). In this role, you will support both inbound and outbound operations through clerical and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate documentation, inventory control, and smooth workflow across all warehouse activities.

Rotating Schedule: Friday to Sunday & Thursday to Sunday 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and process incoming shipment documentation.
• Update inventory records in the Blue Yonder WMS.
• Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Maintain accurate records of received goods.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation.
• Update order status and inventory records in the Blue Yonder WMS.
• Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
• Ensure all outbound documentation is accurate and complete.
• Maintain organized files and records of all warehouse transactions.
• Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Generate reports related to inventory, shipments, and other warehouse activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Familiarity with Blue Yonder WMS or similar systems is a plus.
• Requires excellent typing, filing, and organization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Demonstrated time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple tasks, reprioritize as needed, and work within time constraints.
• Ability to communicate well, both written and verbal.
