Warehouse & Delivery Specialist (part-time)

This position is part-time, working only weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), 10 hours per day, supporting our Equipment Depot located in the South Side of Pittsburgh.

Position Overview

The Warehouse & Delivery Specialist supports operations, delivery, technical, education, and customer service functions. Responsibilities include managing the movement of supplies and equipment across UPMC facilities, verifying orders and deliveries, maintaining inventory, and coordinating drivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time delivery and quality of products to designated areas.
• Manage medical equipment maintenance, perform quality control, and handle sterilization.
• Verify inbound/outbound equipment accuracy using inventory modules.
• Coordinate the pickup and return of products and equipment.
• Maintain records in the computerized maintenance management system.
• Operate and drive a 26ft box truck between facilities.
• Manage dispatch operations for medical equipment and shuttle buses, tracking inventory and driver stats.
• Follow infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and regulatory protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One-year supply warehousing and/or driving experience preferred.
• Two years logistics or dispatching experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (75-1000 lbs.), operate a vehicle safely, and work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in MS Office and maintenance management systems.

Licenses and Certifications

• Driver’s license, DOT Medical Card, and possibly CDL.
• Additional clearances and certifications as required by UPMC.
