We hire Centralized Schedulers in a class format tied to training schedules. Training is the first 4 weeks of employment so we start a group of individuals to go thru training all together. We will be looking to start our next class mid-February (2/17/25 tentatively). We don't currently know the schedules/shifts we will be looking to fill, but historically it tends to be a variety of shifts/schedules. Some part-time, some full-time. We will likely have schedules during day time hours and evening hours. Some schedules may include weekends and others may not.

Responsibilities

The Centralized Scheduler position is responsible for:

• Pre-registering and scheduling patient appointments for assigned services to the appropriate location with appropriate providers.
• Directing calls to the appropriate area for services not provided in Centralized Scheduling.
• Receiving requests for information and ensuring that material is distributed in a timely manner.
• Scheduling, admitting and pre-authorizing insurance for all patients in the area assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Two or more years in a direct customer-facing sales or service setting.

Preferred

• Associates Degree or completion of medical terminology program.
• Two or more years of experience in a medical setting.

Compensation

$20.01 - $28.25/Hr.
