Job summary

Rexel USA in Pullman, WA is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Branch Driver I to join Platt team. This role handles receiving, stocking, staging, shipping, and delivery to customers with up to 50% driving time in a delivery van or box truck (No CDL required).

You will operate forklift/reach truck, verify shipments, and ensure accuracy and safety while meeting DOT and company standards. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Prior warehouse experience a plus.
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 30 days of hire
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years
• High School or GED - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a culture focused on safety in the workplace
• Follow established SOPs, EH&S Rules, and address safety concerns
• Receive material from vendors/customers and verify quantity/description
• Keep incoming orders stocked and report freight damage
• Prepare branch orders and ensure correct products are shipped
• Process shipment paperwork and insure deliveries
• Operate machinery including forklift, reach truck, and wire cutting machine
• Load common carrier and company vehicles
• Inspect and perform maintenance on equipment
• Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Drive delivery vehicles to customers and locations
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and keep vehicles clean
• Adhere to DOT/local driving laws and routes
• Load/unload vehicles ensuring accuracy and damage-free items
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery
• Complete delivery documentation with customer signatures
• Pickup material returns and inspect condition
• Pickup material from suppliers
• Assist in training entry-level drivers
• May perform other branch duties
• Perform other assigned duties
