Job summary

Rexel USA is hiring a Warehouse Associate/Branch Driver I for our Platt team in Kent, WA. You will fill customer orders, receive and stock materials, and occasionally drive to deliver products to customers and suppliers.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate order processing, and basic vehicle operation without a CDL. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, and you must be 21+ with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Prior warehouse experience a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 30 days of hire.
• High School or GED - Preferred.
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• General knowledge of electrical products a plus.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and customers.
• Ability to handle basic issues and problems.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations to accurately complete job tasks.
• Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle loads with a combined weight not to exceed 26,000 GVW.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and be familiar with traffic and driver laws.
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow established SOPs and safety rules; address safety concerns immediately.
• Receive material into the building and verify quantity/description against packing lists.
• Keep incoming orders stocked and report freight damage claims.
• Prepare branch orders and ensure correct product is shipped.
• Process shipment paperwork and ensure proper documentation and labeling.
• Operate forklift, reach truck, and wire cutting machine when required.
• Load common carrier and company vehicles; perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Operate delivery vehicles to customers, branches, and suppliers.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and keep vehicles clean and serviced.
