Latham, The Pool Company is hiring a Warehouse & Delivery Associate for its Ashland, VA area. This on-site, full-time role involves loading/unloading, organizing shipments, and making deliveries across the Virginia distribution footprint. You will verify shipments, maintain stock, and fill orders while following safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Stage, load, and unload materials.
• Safely operate company vehicles to make multiple customer deliveries within Virginia footprint.
• Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments by comparing contents with manifests.
• Notify the Warehouse Manager of issues such as damage or shortages.
• Observe and follow all safety standards and processes.
• Propose process improvements to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

A little about the position:

Job Summary

We are looking for someone motivated, reliable, and hardworking to join our Virginia team. The main responsibilities of this role will include loading/unloading shipments, organizing shipments, verifying shipment accuracy, making weekly deliveries, maintaining an inventory of stock, and filling orders.

Some of What You Will Do:

• Stage, load, and unload materials
• Safely operate company vehicles to make multiple customer deliveries throughout the week within Latham’s Virginia distribution footprint
• Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments by examining contents and comparing them with manifests or packing lists
• Notify the Warehouse Manager of any problems, such as damage or shortages
• Observe and follow all safety standards and processes
• Propose process improvements; implement methods that improve efficiency/effectiveness and reduce costs

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)

• Demonstrate overall knowledge of warehouse/assembly/and repair procedures
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Ability to meet deadlines and use organizational and time management skills effectively
