Job summary

Latham, The Pool Company in Virginia is seeking a motivated Warehouse & Delivery Associate to stage, load, and unload materials and deliver to customers within the Virginia footprint.

You will verify shipments, follow safety standards, and look for efficiency improvements while working on-site. Competitive pay ranges and benefits are offered.

Starting pay ranges from $21 to $23 per hour with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of warehouse, assembly, and repair procedures.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to meet deadlines with strong organizational skills.
• Prior warehouse/assembly/repair experience.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stage, load, and unload materials.
• Safely operate company vehicles to make multiple customer deliveries throughout the week within Latham’s Virginia distribution footprint.
• Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments by examining contents and comparing them with manifests or packing lists.
• Notify the Warehouse Manager of any problems, such as damage or shortages.
• Observe and follow all safety standards and processes.
• Propose process improvements; implement methods that improve efficiency/effectiveness and reduce costs.

A little about the position:

We are looking for someone motivated, reliable, and hardworking to join our Virginia team. The main responsibilities of this role will include loading/unloading shipments, organizing shipments, verifying shipment accuracy, making weekly deliveries, maintaining an inventory of stock, and filling orders.
