Job summary

FNS in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Data Specialist to manage data systems, optimize WMS operations, and ensure inventory accuracy. The role supports daily warehouse tasks and requires hands-on experience with WMS, data analysis, Excel, and PDA/RF scanners.

You will coordinate temporary staff, analyze operational metrics, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and drive data-driven SOP improvements in a fast-paced environment that values accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, charts).
• Warehouse operations experience is preferred.
• Experience working with handheld scanners (PDA/RF Scanner).
• Experience analyzing operational or inventory data.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Data Management & Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report daily warehouse operational metrics, inventory accuracy, and productivity data.
• WMS & Systems Support: Maintain and optimize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for daily receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Scanning & Hardware Operations: Manage handheld scanning equipment and ensure accurate data collection across all operations.
• Warehouse Labor Coordination: Support daily warehouse floor operations and coordinate temporary workforce schedules and attendance.
• Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and propose data-driven SOP improvements.
