Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Brighton, MI is seeking a 2nd Shift Custodian at our distribution center. You will help keep buildings clean and organized, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, trash duties, and landscape maintenance to support a safe, efficient operation.

Starting pay is $19.60/hour with a $1.00 shift premium, plus monthly incentives. The schedule is Sunday–Thursday, 1 PM–10 PM; holidays, weekends, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Successful pass of a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings to ensure clean, organized operations.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, empty trash, and maintain landscaping.
• Work in extreme temperatures (-25F to 100F) in the distribution center.
• No experience required – training provided.

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. As a custodian, you'll support our team by maintaining the buildings to ensure clean, organized operations. You will also sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, empty the trash, clear snow, and maintain the landscaping. You can expect to work in extreme temperatures (-25F to 100F) in the distribution center. There's no experience required - we'll train you how to get the job done!
