Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a 2nd shift Custodian at our Distribution Center in Brighton Charter Township, MI. The role involves maintaining clean, safe, and orderly buildings, performing cleaning tasks, landscaping, and operating in extreme temperatures from -25F to 100F.

Work Sundays through Thursdays, 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with weekends off. The position offers weekly pay, immediate benefits, wellness reimbursement, profit sharing and a 401(k) with a company match.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F) is required.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Successfully pass a drug test and background check.

Position Details

2nd Shift Custodian Distribution Center Address: 7770 Kensigton Court Pay: Starting at $19.60/hour (includes a $1.00 2nd shift premium) Plus, monthly performance incentives

Job Responsibilities

• Work in extreme temperatures (-25F to 100F)

Requirements

• You must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed
• Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F) is required while you’re here
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions)
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check
