Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a custodian at our Freezer Distribution Center in Taunton, MA to support a fast-paced warehouse operation with cleanliness and safety. No prior experience required; training will be provided to get you started.

Starting pay is $20.52/hour with a $1 second shift premium, plus performance incentives and a freezer incentive of $0.80/hour. Schedule is Sunday–Thursday, 7:00pm–3:30am, with Fridays and Saturdays off.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs as needed.
• Must be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F).
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must successfully pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, empty the trash, clear snow, and maintain the landscaping.
• Maintain buildings to ensure clean, organized operations.
