Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Warehouse Order Selector for the 2nd shift in Kenosha, WI. You will work in a fast-paced distribution center, lifting up to 100 pounds and operating scanners to pick orders.

No prior warehouse experience is required as we provide comprehensive training. The role includes a $1.00 2nd shift premium on top of the starting wage, with opportunities for raises and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Steady work history preferred but not required.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
• Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Select and pack items to fulfill orders in a distribution center.
• Operate scanners and follow pick lists accurately.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards and assist with training when needed.

Warehouse Order Selector - 2nd Shift

Distribution Center Address: 10901 38th St., Kenosha WI

Pay

• Starting at $21.95 + $1.00 2nd shift premium
• Earn two pay raises in your first year
• Earn bonus incentives per hour for speed and efficiency

Work Schedule

• Sunday - Thursday work week, with Friday and Saturdays off
• Starting between 7:50PM until finish (shifts vary based on work volume)

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. You'll be on your feet for 10 hours of work, you'll be lifting up to 100 pounds, and you'll be asked to work in our freezer, but there's no experience required - we train you how to get the job done with our dedicated training team. Selecting is hard work, so we'll pay you a starting wage that scales with production and efficiency- the better you perform, the more you earn. Does this look like you?

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Steady Work History
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!
• We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you're here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
