Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is hiring a Loader at our Hatfield, MA distribution center to move pallets, load trailers and help keep communities fed.

The job requires standing, lifting up to 60 lb, forklift and pallet jack operation, and a Sunday schedule. We offer paid training, weekly pay, benefits from day 1 and PTO.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required and pallet jack experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 60 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load full pallets of merchandise into trailers and avoid damage.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Inspect trailer for damage before loading.
• Use RF handhelds/voice systems to verify loading.
• Wrap pallets with stretch wrap.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Complete inspection forms on equipment operated.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

Keep our communities fed. As a Loader, you will move pallets of merchandise from staging areas and load proper trailers.

Compensation & Schedule

Earn $22.00 per hour

Schedule TBD , Sunday Mandatory

You will contribute by:

• Load full pallets of merchandise into trailers and ensure damage is avoided.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Inspect trailer for damage before loading.
• Utilize RF handhelds and/or voice to verify loading of pallets.
• Wrap pallet and stretch wrap.
• Operate battery changing hoist.
• Keep work area clean.
• Complete inspection forms on equipment operated.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Physical abilities

Occasionally, feeling, fingering, gripping and carrying up to 60 Lbs. Frequently lifting up to 60 Lbs. Continuously stooping, pivoting and reaching (level: Waist/overhead, etc.). Continuously standing and walking on surface type (s): Carpet, tile, concrete. continuously handling hearing, seeing and repetitive movement using both hands and feet. Other:
