Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC in Westfield, MA is seeking a Warehouse Loader to join our fast-paced distribution team. You will load orders onto trailers for delivery to local stores, using forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensure loads are secured.

This full-time 1st shift role offers paid training, weekly pay, benefits from day one, PTO, and opportunities for career advancement. Candidates should have 1+ year of material handling equipment experience and a strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and/or electric pallet jacks.
• Inspect trailers before loading any product.
• Verify loading of orders by RF handhelds and/or voice headsets.
• Load full pallets of merchandise into trailers and secure pallets properly.
• Perform equipment inspections and complete appropriate forms.
• Occasionally lift varying case weights and heights.

Position Overview

As a Warehouse Loader, you’ll be part of a productive team, tasked with loading orders onto trailers for delivery to local stores. Job Description

• Earn $22.00 per hour+ $2.00 Freezer pay

• Full Time, 1st shift hours

• 61 Medeiros Way, Westfield MA 01085

You will contribute by:

• Utilizing forklifts and/or electric pallet jacks

• Completing inspection of trailers before loading any product

• Verifying loading of orders by RF handhelds and/or voice headsets

• Loading full pallets of merchandise into trailers & ensuring pallets are secured properly to avoid damages

• Performing equipment inspections & completion of appropriate form

• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

What’s a great way to stay in shape?

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift

• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.

• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more

• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead

• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height

• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
