Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift in Windsor Locks, CT. You will repack salvaged items, remove damaged goods from cases, and ensure accurate recording of returns while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The position offers $21.00 per hour, full-time hours, and benefits from day one. Expect a physically demanding role with standing, lifting up to 60 lbs, and one weekend day required.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and remove damaged product from cases and repack salvageable items.
• Stack unsellable product on pallets, shrink wrap, and load for shipment to another facility.
• Record receipt of returned products from inbound trailers accurately.
• Keep work area clean and sanitary by sweeping, mopping floors and organizing product.

You’ll contribute your strong attention to detail to sustainability efforts by repurposing damaged items, examining goods for defects and providing our customers with the highest quality products.

Job Description

• Earn $21.00 per hour
• Full Time, 2nd Shift- One weekend day mandatory
• 6pm start time - 5 day work week
• 500 North St Windsor Locks, CT 06096

You will contribute by:

• Retrieving and removing damaged product from the case and repackaging the salvageable product to return to the warehouse
• Stacking product that cannot be sold to the customers on a pallet, shrink wrapping and loading on a trailer to be shipped to another facility
• Recording receipt of returned products from in-bound trailers in proper manner.
• Keeping work area clean and sanitary by sweeping and mopping floors and stacking product

What’s a great way to stay in shape?

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
