C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is hiring for a Cross Dock role in Hatfield, MA. You will operate an electric pallet jack and assist in loading and unloading cross dock trailers, ensuring pallets move smoothly from staging to doors and that loads are secure for shipment.

Position Overview

Keep our communities fed. As a Cross Dock, you will use an electric pallet jack to load, unload and move materials onto trucks for shipment out of a warehouse facility. In this role, you will ensure there is flow of pallets from the staging area to the correct doors, and ensure load quality.

Job Description

Earn $22.00 per hourFull Time, 2nd Shift - 5:00 PM - 1:30 AMSunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday95 North Hatfield Road, Hatfield , MA

You will contribute by:

• Operating an electric riding pallet jack
• Assisting in unloading cross dock trailers
• Ensuring the flow of pallets from the staging area to their appropriate doors is being accomplished
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials onto trucks for shipment out of warehouse facility
• Monitoring pallet construction and ensuring load quality
• Prioritizing work within your assigned zone
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
