R.E. Michel Company, LLC is seeking a Warehouse/Counter Service associate in Columbus, OH to handle customer service, order processing, and loading/delivering items. You will ensure accurate invoicing, collect payments, and maintain safe handling of equipment in a fast-paced branch.

The role requires strong communication, ability to read invoices, and safe operation of material handling equipment. It is a full-time, non-exempt position with growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication with customers and public.
• Ability to read invoices, catalogs, stock numbers and descriptions.
• Proficiency using computer systems and order processing software.
• DOT motor carrier requirements compliance and safe driving readiness.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast and friendly customer service in person or by phone.
• Greet customers and ensure commitments are met or exceeded.
• Pull orders from warehouse, load into delivery trucks or customer vehicles.
• Prepare invoices, CODs, purchase orders and shipping paperwork.
• Process returns and warranties the same day received.
• Operate lift truck and other material handling equipment safely.
