R.E. Michel Company, LLC in Monroeville, PA is seeking a Warehouse/Counter Service associate. The role is full-time and non-exempt, reporting to the Branch Manager. Responsibilities include answering calls, assisting customers, invoicing, and loading items for delivery.

The position requires a reliable, safety-conscious individual with basic HVAC familiarity and strong communication. You will work in a fast-paced branch with opportunities for growth and on-site training.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems, parts and supplies.
• Excellent verbal communication with the public/customers.
• Strong attitude and interpersonal skills for customer service.
• Proficiency with computer systems; experience with Prophet 21 preferred.
• Ability to read invoices, catalogs, stock numbers and descriptions to identify items.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast and friendly customer service in person or by phone.
• Greet customers and maintain a positive branch atmosphere.
• Ensure commitments to customers are met or exceeded.
• Pull orders from warehouse and load into delivery trucks or customer vehicles.
• Prepare invoices, CODs, special orders and shipping/receiving paperwork accurately.
• Process payments by cash or credit card following money handling procedures.
• Handle returns and warranties the same day they are received.
• Unload deliveries and stock items in proper locations using MHE.
• Operate forklifts safely and keep equipment maintained.
• Report damage or safety issues to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and facility.
• Verify incoming orders for accuracy before stocking.
• Process UPS shipments and manage counter notebook.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
